Running changes lives – improving the way you feel, the way you think and the way you look at life!
The reason we run isn’t so much to beat each other …. but to be with each other.
Just move your legs. Because if you don’t think you were born to run, you’re not only denying history. You’re denying who you are.
First you feel like dying. Then you feel reborn.
I run because it’s so symbolic of life. You have to drive yourself to overcome the obstacles. You might feel that you can’t. But then you find your inner strength and realize you’re capable of so much more than you thought.
Anybody can be a runner. We were meant to MOVE. We were meant to RUN!
The body achieves what the mind believes.
The real purpose of running isn’t to win a race – it’s to test the limits of the human heart.
When I’m out on a long run, the only thing that matters is finishing the run. For once, my brain isn’t going blehblehbleh all the time. Everything quiets down, and the only thing going on is pure flow. It’s just me and the movement and the motion. That’s what I love!
You don’t stop running because you get old. You get old because you stop running.
I always loved running …. It was something you could do by yourself, and under your own power. You could go in any direction, fast or slow as you wanted, fighting the wind if you felt like it, seeking out new sights just on the strength of your fee and the courage of your lungs”
Running is the greatest metaphor for life because you get out of it what you put into it!
The race does not always go to the swift but to the ones who keep running.
When I do the best I can with what I have, then I have won my race.
Draw a map, find a path, take a breath and run!
